Party Drugs are Laced with Fentanyl Says Confidential Recovery CEO on KUSI San Diego

SAN DIEGO – More frequently, party drugs are being disguised and laced with fentanyl.

Confidential Recovery's CEO Scott H Silverman joined KUSI’s Jason Austell on “Good Morning San Diego” to discuss the latest fentanyl threats.

While a relatively low percentage of the cocaine tested by law enforcement contains fentanyl (lower than one percent), it has risen. the mixture has become more common. Cocaine users who have not built up a tolerance for opioids are at higher risk for overdosing from a small amount of fentanyl.
