Bi-Lingual Certified Drug & Alcohol Counselor

Job Description

Confidential Recovery, an IOP/OP treatment program for working adults is seeking a bi-lingual AOD counselor. Confidential Recovery is an innovative treatment program that utilizes a harm reduction, medically assisted treatment approach when dealing with working Hispanics challenged by substance use disorders.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three year’s post-certification experience working in a Spanish language curriculum-based treatment program. A knowledge of the special barriers to treatment for this population is essential. Dual diagnosis and trauma-informed experience is highly preferred. Experience utilizing a seeking safety curriculum is a plus for consideration.

This position reports to the Clinical Director and the Program Director.

Duties to include: Initial intake assessments, discharges, treatment plan development, completion of on-going progress notes; further, demonstrated experience in 1:1 and group facilitation is required. The company deploys Electronic Medical Health records so experience with insurance-based SOAP note standards is essential.

This position is part time initially working three mornings or evenings a week.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Fluency in English and Spanish
  • 3-5 year’s minimum post certification experience required
  • IOP experience preferred
  • CCAPP/CADC/CADE Credential in required

  • IOP Dual Diagnosis: 3 years

Clinician – Substance Abuse/Dual Diagnosis 

Job Description

Licensed MFT/LCSW/PsyD needed for a growing Intensive Outpatient Program specializing in substance abuse and dual-diagnosis. The ideal candidate will have at least three years post licensure clinical experience in the assessment and treatment of substance abuse addiction and dual diagnosed working adults with mood and anxiety disorders. Specialized training and experience working with trauma clients is preferred. Proven experience with CBT, DBT, EMDR and Seeking Safety is a strong preference. Standard duties will involve conducting intake assessments, developing treatment plans as well as providing individual and group treatment.
