Confidential CEO Discusses the Ongoing Homeless Problem in San Diego

Scott H. Silverman who has been working on homelessness, substance abuse, and mental health issues since the 1980s recently visited KUSI San Diego’s “Good Morning San Diego” segment to discuss the rampant homelessness that is plaguing our state and nation.

Scott pointed out that that 70%+ of unhoused people are under the influence of drugs, or have a mental health issue. Also, California has half the homeless of the entire country. If Scott H. Silverman had a magic wand, he would wish for better management and accountability – an audit of the current usage of funds, because there are billions being spent on this issue, but in California cities like San Diego, Sacramento, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, the results just don’t justify the means.
