Confidential Recovery CEO Appears on KUSI Good Morning San Diego to Discuss Fentanyl

Scott made another guest appearance on the KUSI News morning show “Good Morning San Diego” to discuss the dangers of fentanyl.

Notably, he explained that he considers fentanyl to be almost more of a poison than a drug, due to it’s potency. Fentanyl is 100 times stronger than morphine and 50 times stronger than heroin. Fentanyl has driven the deadly overdose explosion which kills more than 350 people per day (according to the CDC). Opioids (like fentanyl) are responsible for 70% of these overdoses.

Accidental overdose is the number one killer of people aged 18 to 45. Many of those who overdose, do so unwittingly, unwittingly taking another drug, like Xanax or Adderall, in which fentanyl is mixed in.
