Confidential CEO Scott H. Silverman Discusses the Danger of Fentanyl and the San Diego Border

In 2023 border officials seized over 26,000 pounds of fentanyl. Scott H. Silverman joined Good Morning San Diego host Lauren Phinney on KUSI to discuss the dangers that San Diegans face as result of their proximity to the border.

As he has discussed countless times before, Scott reminded the viewing audience that "Fentanyl is a poison, it is not a party drug." Scott discussed the dangers of the drugs coming across the border, and discussed the disturbing reality that the DEA is only capturing 10% of fentanyl coming across the border.

With regard to prevention and action we can take now, Scott reminds that the most crucial thing that parents can do to protect their kids is to have the conversation with them about the dangerse of fentanyl.

And not to be overlooked, Scott H. Silverman is also celebrating a milestone of 39 years of continuous sobriety. It wasn't always easy though, read more about Scott's struggles to find recovery in this article: "From Failure to Founder: the Scott H. Silverman story."
